Oldswinford residents have set up an action group after discovering plans by King Edward V1 College to create a second entrance and car park at The Green Fields - in addition to the existing entrance off Swinford Road.
The group say they are worried about the siting of a new, secondary access road in a “completely dangerous” location and fear it will lead to traffic congestion.
However, college principal Remley Mann insisted there was never any intent to upset local residents; and the aim is to improve facilities at the site, which recently benefitted from a £380,000 FA grant.
