It’s still six months until Christmas, but Dudley Zoo is already looking for a Santa to join its popular festive grotto in the site’s 11th century castle.

The attractions Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said: “We’re looking for a friendly Father Christmas who can deliver a magical experience to all our visitors.

“Last year we welcomed 15,206 people during its three-week opening, which was our best grotto ever, so we need jolly applicants, who can work with a team of elves and enjoy meeting lots of excited young children!”

Interested Santas should apply via email, including a CV to marketing@dudleyzoo.org.uk, or in writing to Dudley Zoological Gardens, Castle Hill, Dudley, DY1 4QF, before June 30th.

The grotto will open on December 1st until Christmas Eve and applicants must be available to work weekends when the grotto is particularly busy.
