Stolen car recovered following Halesowen burglary

Police in Halesowen have recovered a BMW stolen in a burglary earlier the same day.

Whilst on patrol, officers from C unit response, based at Brierley Hill saw two vehicles driving at high speed.

They were seen on Dudley Road in the early hours of the morning and pursued to Earls Way where they drove the wrong way along the carriageway.

One of the vehicles, a BMW 218, was then abandoned in the carriageway. This vehicle had just been stolen from a burglary in Halesowen and has now been recovered to be returned to the owner.

A police dog and drone team attended the area but unfortunately the offenders couldn't be located.
