Local MP, Suzanne Webb visited Stourbridge Town Hall to watch Side By Side Theatre Company perform 'The Tadeus Toad – The Spell and the Road'.

Suzanne is a supporter of the charity which supports people with learning disabilities. After the show, Suzanne met up with the cast and crew to talk about the experience. She said:

“I was blown away by this brilliant and enjoyable performance and I salute the cast and all those who made such a huge effort to put on a great show.

“Side By Side is an important charity in our town helping adults with learning disabilities expand on their independent living and life skills through the performing arts.

“I was left wanting more but I was told I will have to wait for the next performance! Many thanks to Side By Side for inviting me - I had a wonderful time!”

Artistic Director and Side By Side Founder, Suzanne Wallin, added: “We were delighted that Suzanne was able to see the show.

“She was able to stay for the Spot Light after the performance, where the audience asked the actors questions about the show and how they rehearsed.

"She met many of the actors and dancers afterwards and was full of praise for the quality of their performances. She particularly enjoyed the toad disco dance.”
