Stourbridge MP, Suzanne Webb has launched her annual Christmas card competition and is looking towards her constituents to help her celebrate the festive season.
The theme this year is nature and green spaces and the winning design will be printed on the front of the card. It will then be sent to the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson as well as other public figures and local residents in the run up to the festive season.
The closing date for entries is 1st November and four Stourbridge schools have already submitted designs by their pupils. Suzanne said:
“I’m really looking forward to looking through all the entries and picking the one that will go on to grace mantelpieces across the country including the one at 10 Downing Street!
“It is not too late to get drawing and submit an entry and I hope schools will take up the challenge and ask pupils to come up with some excellent designs to make my job even harder. I wish everyone who enters the best of luck.”
Two runners-up will have their images printed on the inside of the card this year.
Last year’s winner was Rebeccah Batstone from Colley Lane Primary School with her ‘Merry Woof-mas’ card featuring a drawing of Suzanne’s dog, Sid.
