Stourbridge MP Suzanne Webb has launched a competition for school children to design a card for the King’s Coronation.
The winner’s design will be printed and sent to His Majesty ahead of the event on 6th May.
The competition is open to all children of school age in Stourbridge and Suzanne has written to every school inviting them to take part.
The deadline for entries to be submitted is 31st March. Suzanne said:
“Last year’s competition to design a card for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee was a huge success so I am delighted to launch another to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles.
“It will be an exciting day and one I want the children of Stourbridge to be involved in. I hope they will get their craft kits out and start designing some brilliant cards.
“The winner will be announced in April and good luck to everyone who takes part."
The Jubilee card competition was won by seven pupils from Amblecote Primary School. The entries were made into a collage for the Queen’s card.
Entries can be sent to the office of Suzanne Webb MP, 1a Worcester Street, Stourbridge, DY8 1AH.
