A Stourbridge teenager has appeared before magistrates charged with criminal damage, after he drove a dumper truck around Mary Stevens Park in March this year.
19 year-old, Scott Beaman, from Penfields Road, caused a substantial amount of damage while the park was undergoing landscaping work, after receiving lottery funding.
Beaman was ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work, pay £330 costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Another teenager admitted his part in the damage and accepted a community resolution completing a day’s work at the park.
