A monument of peace between faiths and cultures in Stourbridge’s Mary Stevens Park has been targeted by vandals.
Stourbridge Quakers donated the peace pole to the park less than two months ago.
But last Friday it was found severely damaged, in an attack local Quakers have called a “sad reflection of current society”.
They added that the aim of the pole was to show how multicultural Stourbridge is.
